What “Power” and “Rarity” mean here
Power means how strong the Pokémon is in battle—its stats, moves, and how well it handles fights.
Rarity means how hard it is to get—if it’s from fossils, limited events, or rare wild spawns.
1. Tyrantrum
Tyrantrum is very strong. Its Attack and Defense stats are high.
It is rare because you need to revive a fossil (Tyrunt → Tyrantrum) to get it.
2. Dracovish
Dracovish has a special move that can deal huge damage when conditions are right.
Its parts come from fossils, so you cannot find it freely in wild—making it rare.
3. Archeops
Archeops has very good speed and attack.
It is rare because it is revived from a fossil (Dome Fossil), so not many can get it easily.
4. Baxcalibur
Baxcalibur is among the top “dinosaur pokemon” in newer games.
It is rare because it appears in later game versions and is not easy to catch.
5. Aurorus
Aurorus has decent bulk (can take hits) and good special stats.
It is also rare because it evolves from a fossil Pokémon (Amaura), so not common in wild.
6. Rampardos
Rampardos is more about strong physical attacks.
It is rare because it comes from Skull Fossil, so you must revive it.
7. Bastiodon
Bastiodon is strong defensively—good at resisting damage.
It is rare since it is revived from Shield Fossil.
8. Tropius
Tropius is weaker in battle compared to others on this list.
It is less common in many game versions, so its rarity is moderate.
Other Dinosaur-Style Pokémon worth noting
- Dracozolt, Arctovish, Arctozolt: these are part dinosaur / fossil mix types.
- Garchomp: though it is more dragon/ground type, it has dinosaur features and is strong in many battles.
